Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

I am proud to be a member of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Department, here at GPS. Students with hearing loss have many options in our district. I am one of three DHH teachers who provides services on an itinerant basis, meaning that I travel to my students' schools and work with them at their home campuses. I service students at all grade levels (preschool through high school).

About Me

I graduated from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and an area of concentration in Deaf Education. I then earned my Master of Science degree in Deaf Education at Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College). I have been teaching for 18 years! I taught elementary and high school at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf from 1999-2000. I taught middle school at the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf from 2000-2003. Since August of 2003, I have been employed as an itinerant DHH teacher with GPS.
