Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Lori Gallas and I teach Intermediate SCILLS at Houston Elementary Schools. The focus of  instruction in my classroom is reading, math and written language. I use thematic units to increase general knowledge with an emphasis on language acquisition. Life skills are incorporated into our daily lessons, so that students can gain confidence and independence.
